Accurate Group, Inc. provided material testing and construction inspection services for the project. Responsibilities included testing, surveying, and monitoring of main lane PCC pavement, bituminous shoulder pavement and 3” base pavement for the main lane, retaining walls, abutments, wing walls, deck concrete pour, parapet and movement slab walls, slope walls, parapet/median barrier walls and ramp construction. On-site placement monitoring, testing, and sampling of PCC pavements included taking slump tests, air content, and temperature, and casting cylinders. Nuclear density testing was performed on the Hot Mix Asphalt and aggregate placement.
